LYCANTHROPY RULES: Alpha: an alpha is a lycanthrope that was born that way. alphas are able to transmit the disease. when a successful bite is scored, 2 d6's are rolled, and if they are both 1's, the victim has lycanthropy. brawls at 9d, damage 4d/4d/5d Beta: a beta is a lycanthrope that received the disease through means of a bite (as noted above). they cannot transmit the disease, but if they have children, there is a 50% chance that they are lycanthropes, and of that, a 50% chance that they are alphas. brawls at 6d, damage 3d/3d/4d. both: both types regenerate at a rate of (yes, this is changed) 1hp/6r, or 1 hp per minute, or 10 hp per turn. Fire damage is regenerated at half the normal rate. acid damage, magical fire, and damage caused by silver or magical weapons is NOT regenerated. CONTROL: Alphas may control changes at will, but often choose not to. the beast is part of them and they tend to like it. Betas may control it in degrees that will be assigned by the DM. TO CHANGE INTO A WEREWOLF BY CHOICE: person must roll willpower against difficult. if successful, person must roll willpower against moderate to control it. TO AVOID CHANGING: person must roll willpower against difficult, if unsuccessful, person must roll willpower against very difficult to control it.
