Game Travel

How to get around and how Fast you get there is determined by a few different factors. First thing, the GM must know the distances between places in his or her world to know how far to travel and what terrain the characters will find themselves in. Here is a chart that may help you figure out how to get from Ireland to Malfestus and how long it will take:

Other factors to take into account:
The chart above was created for average conditions in fair weather. Mudslides, twisters, war, blizzards, entangle spells, tsunamis and big mosters have a large effect on the distance travelled that day. Also, some games use Fairy realms, the dreamworld, time portals or other time / distance altering methods. Flying usually is double to running - flying on a pegasus, griffin, dragon or other large, flying animal would be double for horse gallop.
