The Battle of Ocal: Good triumphs over Evil

Fatalities on all sides include:
54 dragons
180 zombies,
200 orcs
30 ogres
25 stone golems
160 human slaves
50 fire plane creatures
1,804 soldiers

Named NPC deaths are as follows: The battle lasted 3 days, 2 nights, and ended close to midnight on the third eve. Gethelkay was freed from Ophelia's gem, but Saern was gravely wounded by Barious before he could be put down. The good news is that his sister was right there and took him out of the fight as soon as he passed out with the affliction. The bad news is that he may not make it anyway.

The oldest and most powerful of the Gael brothers was taken from the battlefield by another, larger dragon just before the King's men were going to surround and slay him. No one knows who this dragon might be or where it might have taken Gael Thiod.

Forlumb is exhausted beyond words from this battle. He literately pressed himself to the edge of death to ensure victory (I'm not kidding, it rolled out that way). After he supervised the collection of the spoils on the battlefield and ordered the retreat he simply colapsed with no warning. He's going to be bed ridden and dilirious for days as the wild flows of kylos run rampant through his body unchecked by his usually substantial willpower.

The army got out with 140 soldiers able and ready, with an amazing 90 wounded. And as expected...going through the hell they have...they should all be very kick ass now.

And with the help of the feathered dragons on the west bank (where they were fighting the Fayenna dragons at the same time as the Battle of Ocal; most of that battle happened in the sky so the Feathered dragons only lost 6 of their number, where as the Falyenna dragons lost 15) Dokoral has been liberated. The War is Over!
