A team of 10 Gnomish scribes that worked for the Darwin church a year back or so. They want to find the truth behind magic; its origins, its purpose in the grand design, and ultimately why it can do what it does. They seem to believe that discovering these things has everything to do with finding you. These guys will work for free.

A group of 40 Gnomish militia were discharged from the armed forces of Vok'Norr when the new King took the thrown. At first these guys were looking for you so that they could pay you back for putting somebody in charge that took away their jobs, but since then they have come around to thinking that you could be a good employer. These guys will expect 2 GP a week each.

A group of 6 Gnomish archers came out of Vok'Norr back when they first heard about gunpowder. They wanted to be up with the latest technology, but didn't realize how expensive the materials would be. They've been acting as mercenaries to raise money for their new hobby, but they've wanted something more exciting then the occasional guard duty. That's how they became interested in your exploits. These guys will expect 5 GP a week each.

An army of 100 Dwarven infantry that came together shortly after you left Vok'Norr that first time and has been tracking you down ever since, gathering members and experience. Each member has a battleaxe, a throwing axe, a spiked buckler, a helm, and chainmail. They are very well structured and disciplined. They will work for free.

A group of 3 Centaur hunters have been traveling around to find and destroy Morkir for what she has done to their villages. They've been looking for you because you fought against Morkir and they will pledge their lives to you for that. Obviously they will work for free.

An Orc/Dwarf named Grolg York heard about your strength and has been searching for you ever since so that he might challenge your strength. If you beat him in single combat he will follow you to the grave and back. He has limited command of any given language it seems, but his eyes are sharp watchful. He looks very strong, covered in scars, and moves about in his hide armor with ease and speed. He wears spiked iron bracers on the wrist and elbow of his left arm, he also wears a spiked iron great helm with a thick leather backing for his neck. The armor for his right arm has been removed and replaced with some kind of bronze casing that seems to be fitted perfectly. His boots are thick white fur hide, but not the same as the rest of his armor which is a dark brown. He carries three cold iron daggers (that means their shaped or carved, but not forged), a great club made of ironwood and stone, a partisan carved from some huge black bone, and finally a bastard sword made of cold iron. This sword is a grayish black with a large oval shaped red jewel in the center of the hilt. It seems very roughly hewn and any craftsman would tell you it's a piece of shit…doesn't even look sharp.

A Goblin named Hackle Daer came out of Vok'Norr a year ago hoping that he could find a place to belong with you. He's been an outcast most of his life, trying to live in Dwarven society when dwarves and goblins hate each other. All he could ever so to get by was work in the underground doing things that only got him in more trouble. He wouldn't elaborate on any of that, he'd just tell you not to send him back. He's so glad he finally found you, but he is still going to ask that you pay him for his services. He's hungry and owns practically nothing…as he's found during his search for you that goblins are even more hated outside of Vok'Norr. His only possessions are the clothes on his back, a handful copper, and a rusty iron dagger.

An Elf/Human named Rodger Olaesh has been living secretly in Satile all his life. He has looked for you because he feels that your reputation is merely slander that proves you have something in common with him. He is very, very old and expects that he will die soon. He remembers being alone in his youth and doesn't want that to happen to his apprentice, who is like a son to him, so he has come out of hiding in the hopes that you will accept Kevin in your community. Rodger stands hunched over at about 4 foot and 8 inches, he is extremely weak and nearly blind. His skin looks like thin paper that's been stained with dark spots and wrinkled all over. His hair is pure white and he sports a beard with no mustache, but all he's got on the top of his head are a few lose strands. His hearing is still acute and the feeling in his left hand is also reliable, but that's about it. He can't taste or smell a damn thing and a good chunk of his body is numb most of the time. He wears a thick wool cloak of brown with pockets on the inside and the outside, but all of them appear to be empty. He has an ebony cane with a silver pointer and an ivory gargoyle handle that he keeps about to help him walk. He will work for free as long as Kevin wants to stay and is treated well.

A Human named Kevin Vance never knew his parents and was an orphan with no real future until Rodger found him and took him under his wing. He has come looking for you only because Rodger told him to. He doesn't believe you to be as evil as they say, but at the same time thinks it can't all be lies either. He is very protective of Rodger who he calls "grandpa" and makes sure that they are never apart for any length of time. He is 15 years old and carries himself as if he were an experienced, well traveled adventurer. He's missing two fingers from his right hand, has a glass eye, and has some pretty impressive scars all over his face and body. He doesn't look buff, but he's toned like a runner. He wears a plain green doublet that's always unfastened a pair of leather black pants and matching boots. Around his right wrist is a decorative bracelet made of mythril and set with sapphires. Around his neck is a silver neckless with a decorative frame about a large amber jewel. The only other thing he keeps with him are all of Rodger's things in a large satchel about his shoulder.

Most of these people came searching you out for the same reason: you were Nickademus's apprentice and no one else they recognize as an authority of Shallace can be found.

A human family of 2 parents and 3 young boys that have been searching for a new home since Shallace became the Vendril Spire. The parents are a little paranoid and protective of their boys that seem to believe that their daddy can beat up anyone so they can get in any trouble they want. Each one of them has the intrinsic use of minor cantrips. They will do whatever you ask if you give them a home.

A group of 4 shock lizards that the family were able to save and bring with them from Shallace.

A Lammasu named Theyo that helped protect the family and has searched for you at first to kill you because you were the apprentice of Nickademus, later to follow you once he discovered the truth about Kollackra. This thing will follow you for free.

A group of 7 Drak brothers who believe the seekers are completely responsible for the destruction of their home and want to help you kill them all. They will follow you for free.

A group of 5 Dragonnes that followed the Drak brothers.

A group of 12 Human hunters that helped provide food and protection for Shallace, now they want to do the same for you. These guys will expect 1 GP a week each.

A group of 2 Blink dogs that came with the Human hunters.

A group of 10 Satyrs that want to bring the "real life" to your new community. They seem to have their own ideas about what your community needs. They won't necessarily do what you ask.

A group of 9 Pegasus that came with the Satyrs.

A group of 24 Nixies came with the Satyrs. They're upset that their isn't a lake around, but they'll fix that, they say. They won't necessarily do what you ask.

A group of 7 Pixies came with the Satyrs. They won't necessarily do what you ask.

A group of 17 Hybsil that wish to hunt in and protect the forest that eventually will be grow on your land. These guys respect you for what you were in Shallace and they know what you did in Kollackra so they respect you a lot more for that, but they are primarily here for the forest…not you. They won't necessarily do what you ask.

A group of 31 more Nixies came with the Hybsil. They won't necessarily do what you ask.

A group of 11 Grig came with the Hybsil. They won't necessarily do what you ask.

A group of 3 Gynosphynx came looking you up mostly because you intrigue them, but also because they need a place to live after the destruction of Shallace. They might have more fun frustrating you then doing what you say, but they like you.

An Androsphinx came with its female counterparts for obvious reasons. Its more active than the other three, it could be easier convincing him to do something.

A group of 30 Human priests have come to your castle to start a new chapter of Singers. The Singers are the lowest and most common priest order in the Vennan Church, their primary focus is the community. They are named the Singers because they constantly celebrate Venna's voice which is legendary in its beauty.

A Human bishop named Hedrick Forlo who has been working hard to become an influence in the Vennan church, but his accomplishments keep getting bushed aside. He feels that since you are closer to the Goddess you will appreciate what he can do much more than the "ol' coots" in charge of his old chapter. He is a bishop of the Singers and came with the other 30. He is very peaceful and gentle, but can get riled up from time to time. He's in his early forties and looked upon by the other priests as a father figure. He is said to be wise in many things and always willing to help and to forgive. He stands at 6 feet and is still quiet healthy. He wears the robes of his order and always keeps his bible close by, but has few other possessions of his own.

A group of 50 Human cavalry have come to serve you as diligently as you have served the Goddess. They have good horses with chain barding. They themselves are wearing chain mail and carry medium metal shields. They are each armed with a heavy lance, a morning star, and 2 javelins.

A group of 5 Human mounted archers came with the cavalry. They are of the same mind, they want to serve you. They have excellent horses with no barding. They are good horsemen and are skilled bowyer/fletchers as well. They wear leather armor with a steel helm and each carry both a waist and shoulder quiver. They are armed with a short bow and a short sword.

A group of 5 Human priests have come looking for you because of the contact that you have had with the Goddess and her daughter Lillianna. They seem to feel that your closeness to Venna makes you an apt leader for their faith. They are members of the White Veil, named after the legendary Veil that Venna wore when she walked the earth (this Veil was in the last campaign, it's a holy relic). Members of this order must be female and are never allowed to reveal their faces to anyone once they have taken their vows, they forever wear these white veils that you can almost see through…but not quite. They have forsaken all possessions except their clothes and their bibles and rely upon Venna to provide everything they need. This isn't the highest order of priests, but its damn close.

A group of 10 Human infantry came with the order of the White Veil, they were ordered to protect them during their travels. However, these soldiers have heard of you too and want nothing more than to follow your lead to greatness. They all know each other and most of them are good friends. They are all used to wearing heavy armor, but had to settle for studded leather as they were not given steeds and anything heavier would have been hard to travel in. They each have steel helm and wood/steel composite medium shield. They are each armed with a long sword, a dagger, and a light crossbow.

A group of 40 Human and Dwarven halberders have come to defend your land with their lives. They are dedicated beyond belief. They each wear Brigandine armor and a great helm. They are armed with a halberd and a hand axe.

A Human soldier named Hugh Dezra has acted as a lieutenant for the armed forces of the Vennan Church for nearly a decade now. Just before the war in Satile broke out he left Paldain with the 40 halberders under his command to serve under you most holy crusade against evil. However, he couldn't find you until after the war broke out and he was torn as to where he should go. He finally decided that everyone must choose their battles well and bet his lot with you. He feels that no matter what might be going on else where that you will need him more for more important tasks than he could ever imagine. He's a bulky man in his mid thirties and bald. He has some scarring on his head and his arms but is otherwise unmarked. He wears chain mail most of the time, but always goes into battle with a suit of plate mail when he has time to put it on. He refuses to wear a helm because he says that it hinders his vision of the battlefield and similarly refuses a shield because he needs both hands to signal his men. He's armed with a dagger, a war hammer, and a long sword that was once blessed by a cardinal of the Singers. It is said that sometimes those fighting in the battles that he draws this blade at hear a strange voice singing in the distance urging them to drop their weapons and calm their furies.

A group of 10 Dwarven priests have come to support your effort against the vile aberrations of undead and evil that you have been known to fight in the past. They are members of Earth's Answer, an order that was started shortly after the Great War 500 years ago. They are the only Vennan order of priests that are violent, and typically only Dwarves join it. As orders go this one's on par with the Singers, not too high in the ranks.

A Dwarven paladin named Korven Sashthac has been training to become a knight for 35 years. He used to dream about being the greatest knight ever and to ensure that he was he practiced constantly, always delaying his trials until he felt he was ready. Now he feels he is ready and wants to become your squire. He just under middle aged for a dwarf and is very experienced. He has traveled to many places and knows their cultures, terrain, and languages; he a practiced healer and mediator; he believes that the greatest strength comes from within, but has honed his physical prowess as well. He is moderately strong, but not so agile; he is very intelligent and insightful and doesn't seem to have a scratch on him. He wears a suit of scale mail made from the hide of a Fang, it is a non-reflective white that feels cold to the touch and seems to cool the air around it as well. He has a medium shield crafted from the dark green shell of a turtle and framed in cold iron and wears a horned hide great helm with a steel binding. He is armed with a warhammer crafted from bronze and inlaid with small topaz jewels about the head and a broad sword that seems fairly plain and relatively new.

A Human paladin named Rufus Touthor was knighted to the order of The Protectors 4 months prior. He has been considering where his skills would be needed and decided that they would be best put into your care. He will name your castle and surrounding lands as his protectorate. He is a tall man at 6 feet and 7 inches and looks a bit lanky, but he is strong and very agile as well as double jointed throughout his body. He has a overbearing presence that can unsettle people, but he's good natured enough. He wears a golden breast plate with the design of a snake-like dragon writhing all about the front and the back, the dragon's head is above his heart and has sparkling sapphires for eyes. The rest of his body is covered in bronze chain that extends out from under the breast plate, the two don't seem as though they were meant to be together. He also wears a helm with straight nose guard and plate gauntlets both made of adamantite. He has a copper tower shield whose bulk he seems to pay no mind even though it must weigh a ton; the shield looks very old as its stained dark and green all over. He is armed with dagger, a long bow crafted from a green sapling (that should be impossible, but it works somehow), and a mythril broad sword with a mural upon the blade depicting Vena during the Twilight Wars. His steed is a bison named Boron that is just as huge and intimidating as he is.

A group 40 Human infantry were sent to you as a gift by the House of Francis. A letter arrived with them stating that the Barron Theodore Manuel Francis hoped that you were in good health and that he wished you to accept these men as a sign that the house of Francis stands by its allies. The infantry all wear leather armor and a leather helm. Their only weapon is a long sword. These guys will each expect 2 GP a week.

A group of 25 Human archers were sent to you by the House of Keens, with a letter of much the same wording as above from a Count Lionnel Tronn Keens. These guys will each expect 1 GP a week.

A group of 10 Human servants have been sent to you by the House of Nathu. A Countess Bethany Vale Nathu has sent a letter with them stating that she hopes you are well and that the construction of you castle is proceeding in good form. She sends these servants to you in the hopes that they can make your wait for a proper home more bearable. She apologizes for not being able to send more, but assures you of their quality for she hand picked them all from her own staff. They are all female and…what the fuck!....ok, apparently the average appearance among them is 17. They will each expect 3 GP a week.

A Human Baroness named Willma Morthan Harketh has been sent by her father the Baron Harketh in proposal of marriage. There is no letter from the Barron himself, Wilma says that she is his message. Despite common practice, this wasn't forced upon her. She actually does want to marry you, she has fallen in love with your reputation which becomes obvious if you listen to the way she goes on about your deeds. She wants to be a part of your life, your adventures, and take care of you when you are hurt and lonely; all her words. She is about 5 feet 5 inches with long wavy brown hair that spills about her shoulder and crowns the features of a "baby face". She has vibrant brown eyes and dimples that make you wonder if she ever stops smiling. When you first see her she is wearing a beautiful dress woven of silk with just a tinge of silver lace. Her appearance is 14. She is well versed in the ways of the nobility and is well educated. She also comes with a dowry of 2,000 GP in coins (that is on the small side and they is usually more variety). There are a few handmaids and guards with her, but they aren't part of the package.

A Human scribe named Thessa Orlan has been sent by the House of Bowtenia to act as an ambassador and advisor concerning the courts of Morrayan nobility. The Marquis Darnel Vowl Bowtenia sent a short but friendly letter with Thessa indicating that if you needed anything to contact him threw Thessa. Thessa is an all business woman, she doesn't socialize at all and always seems a little put off regardless of how nice you are to her, but she is never rude. She spends most of her time alone. She is about 6 foot with long raven black hair and angular features covered with a pair of spectacles. She is not unattractive with an appearance of 12, but she doesn't "wear" her looks at all. She is always well dressed, but never wears dresses; she says they are too impractical.

A Human Countess named Morianna Thonate Klessou has come to you of her own accord. She wants to help you build upon your lands; she says they will be great some day. She is in her early to mid thirties, about 5 feet 8 inches, and a little portly. She is very jolly and silly most of the time, but never loses sight of her goals and what she needs to do to get there. She has blonde hair that is already graying throughout, large blue eyes and slightly crooked teeth and she shows all the time. She is always wearing the most extravagant clothing and jewels. She has brought some servants and guards with her, but not many.

A Human Marquis named Jacob Poleski Varnu left his family shortly before they were moved from the Morrayan throne. He is distant relation to the old King and half Kurratian. The Varnus were the previous royal family before Forlumb took over. He says he came looking for you to confirm what he had heard, he came to see with his own eyes if you were really as great as they say. He seems to have a chip on his shoulder and means to deal with it by fighting you in single combat. If you win he says he will stick around and see where your lead takes him because "after all there's nothing left for me back home." He is in good shape and seems to be in his twenties. There's not a hint of laborer or worldly experience about this guy, he's pure-bred, home grown, nobleman. He dresses conservatively in mostly reds and light browns. He carries a master work broad sword with him and owns a beautiful pure bred stallion.
