In the Beginning
The party met in Tinsdale. Tove and Halfaust arrived from the main contenant and met up with Gwydeon and LiBan. During a fight with bandits, the party met Treon and Fenn. They all joined forces to fight an Afnak that was killing the people of Tinsdale and they were victorious. YAAAY! From there, they traveled through a few towns and kingdoms, helping the inhabitants with their problems and dilemmas. They cleared a mountain pass of one-eyed, one-legged one-armed mosters, saved a magical cow that gave healing milk and learned many things along the way. They met Thaddeus, a Reman from the main contenant who was questing for a priest that arrived here with him. Halfaust found that he wasn't interested in a life of adventuring and left to Tara to learn the art of being a druid - only after throwing his relic of the God Loki down the crapper! They fought unsilee and met with the King of the Day and the Queen of the Night. Lara and Peridur were sent by the Fion as charioteers to the party. They learned that Gwydeon's father, Gowall, was questing to find the Faal that would find a High King to restore order to Ire. At Gwydeon's home, we met up with Alun, a sailor who decided to travel with the party. Our new quest was to help find Gwydeon's father and help him find the Faal.

Fenn got pregnant, Tove got a tattoo, LiBan got hit on alot and they all got some new toys. The party was introduced to Riannan, a fae-dorn mantias (a prophet of sorts). Fenn had her baby girl Nym (who happened to be a Pixie!) in the midst of a battle with Wyvrens. Nym quickly became a major part of all our lives. Peridur left back to the life of a Charioteer to the Fion, though Lara decided to stay. Their questing brought them to the island of Skye where the legendary warrior maiden, Scatha lives. Unfortuantely Riannan fell overboard on the way. Scatha trained the party after deeming them worthy of such training, but the boat that brought us there was destroyed. LiBan summoned some Korrid fairies who built us a magical boat in one night (for the price of a kiss! Mmmm...they taste like mud!). This boat is a masterwork and drains itself of water when it floods! Very useful!

We fought more unsilee and learned more skills. Thaddeus found his priest held up in a prison cell acting mad as mad can be. Gods were waging war in his head and Tahddeus helped his faith and restored his sanity. They discovered a lost, cursed kingdom that had been taken over by one who called himself the Blood King. They fought him and restored the land. We were now the rulers of it. The party met up with Donnal, squire to the Fion who had been charged with finding out about the bandits in the forest near Tinsdale. He wished to join them in finding the Faal, but could not leave his quest unattended. He met up with O'Rozovik, Jordi and Borgar Flatnose the Dwarf. Thaddeus also agreed to stay and help Donnal on his quest. They learned about the bandits living there, they saw the King of the Day who granted Donnal embassadorship between the Fairy realm and the Human world, but more importantly, they met Blodwedd, the fairy who lived in the Forest. Donnal got some magical armor and the rest of the party got some cool toys as well. Donnal and O'rozovic befriended her and earned her trust to leave the place so that the Bandits were no longer protected by her magic. It eventually came down to a one-on-one battle between Donnal and the Leader of the Bandits. Both had their companions assisting them in the battle and the bandits were defeated. They had to pick up and move or stay and be helped. From there, further complications with Blodwedd and Romance began to grow.

During that time, Tove, Fenn, Gwydeon and LiBan travelled with Alun, Lara and Treon to learn more of the Faal and the whereabouts of Gwydeon's Father, Gowall. A battle ensued where Fenn saved Geliagh from death and was rewarded with psychic abilities. They visited the Bard College in Lienster and were taken to see the Great Tree. The tree embodied the spirit of the Lord of the Forest (Treon's Grandfather) and it provided many answers that they sought. They finally knew what the Faal was and where to find it. After tough journeys, Treon's "trial", finding a near-dead zombie Riannen and battling hoards of unsilee, they made it to the Mountain where the fall resided. They got hold of it and took it straight to Tara. Lara got knighted and then married Gwydeon.

As if that wasn't enough
The party headed North to revivie LiBan's dead brother and tried to help out Uster with an unusual cropping-up of monsters. They fought a deadly water dragon and other beasts. Meanwhile, Donnal and his party had dealings with the Fomorian shapeshifter and both Borgar and Thaddeus were killed. The Fomor then invaded the coast of Munster and the Dord Fion was blown. Lara had been knocked into a comatose state, but still heard the call. Gwydeon's party tried to make peace between the waring Ulster and Connacht to pool together to help out with the Fomor invasion. During a stay in Queen Moira's castle in Connacht, Gwydeon was visited by Oghma, his diety. He told Gwydeon that his father was not Gowall. Gowall was really, in fact his father's brother, though he had disguised himself thusly. His real father, who he had thought was his uncle, was the man now posing as Sennok, leader of the Unsilee! Alun, who was Gwydeon's neighbor had also been affected by this man - he was dipped into the black cauldron after he was killed falling out of a tree - that's why he is mute. It also turns out that Alun's family was the over-seeing family to the tablets that held the Unsilee in their prison. They're out now. Ooops!

Battle was waged between the two kingdoms regardless of the Fomor invasion. Then, the stakes were raised and the battle was waged between Lug and the Morrigan. Throughout this time, both parties had experienced dealings with a voice that called itself the "Il Donacht". It turns out that the Il Donacht is really another aspect of the God Lug. LiBan's father! WOAH! Donnal was his champion! another WOAH! As the battle between Ulster and Connacht commenced, they noticed a strange warrior amongst Queen Moira's elite. They eventually, fromt he fighting style, realized that it was Lara! Donnal hadn't known and used his magic sword on her and turned her to stone! Gwydeon, now losing all hope for life and knowing that his wife was pregnant, flew up into the air via his magical armor. He then dove, straight down aiming his spear at Moira in an attemt to kill both her and himself. He managed to live and she took the form of the Morrigan and then the fight took to the heavens. The skies rained blood from the gods. Lug took his children to himself and together they won the battle. LiBan was rewarded with her father's sword - the second most powerful sword EVER! After Fenn's healing sessions, and freeing Lara by breaking Donnal's sword, everyone re-gouped and headed off to Tara to see who they could drop off to safety and then find their way to the cash of munster. LiBan's mother assisted them in moving faster and they eventually arrived. Celtchair, the really old Prytani there told the party where to find the cash of munster that held Fomorsbane. They didn't realize what challenges lay ahead though.

They traveled to the swamp in this harsh winter and met up with their first challenge. A giant, black dragon rose from the swampy depths. It told them that they may not leave unless they pass the challenges within. Alun would not go, but Treon and Fenn were not allowed to enter. Fairies were not allowed in here. Fenn took the form of a human girl (a power granted to her by Lug) and was then allowed to enter. the cave entrance was the decaying body of the dragon that led down into the depths of the swamp where the souls go until they accept their deaths. Before the party lay a table of weapons and items. Once each item was chosen, they had to fight to win it from the spirit that previously owned it. Gwydeon won a fire lizard and Fenn found the sister sword to the one she already had. Tove won the Fomorsbane tho and nearly died to get it - many many souls held that one and some were angry at her being an outlander though she won it anyway. They left the cash of munster battered, bruised and charred, but alive and victorious. The rest of the day was spent travelling through the freezing swamps. Yuck.

That night, as they tried to rest on a fairly dry patch of land, Tove fell unconscious in a fit and their fire blazed bright and smokey. A Reman priest arrived followed by Ivar and Harek from the Bandit Kingdom - the ones who fought against Donnal. They were all here for the same reason - to help out with something, but it wasn't known what. The smoke from the fire turned into a boat that lowered to the encampment. From over the railing, they could see Halfaust over the edge. He took them all to the place they needed to go.
Over the ocean, there was a battle about to take place between Odin and Zeus and Tove had the key to help stop the battle. Two gods fighing on this earth would destroy it completely! Her necklace unlocked hidden Valkyrie powers within her. It was tough, but the battle ended through everyone's help. Alun was near death, but by being a Valkyrie, Tove could keep him alive until he got some medical attention (DR. FENN!). On the cloud boat ride back, Tove tried out a few of her other Valkyrie abilities and sparked a passion in Donnal that he could not control - he and Bloduedd started going at it right there on the deck in front of everyone! *insert cheesy porn music here* Top

from JANUARY 11, 2003:
It took a couple of days for the boat to reach the shores of Eire again, and the party was more than ready to fight Fomore. However, while Frey's boat was en route, Dorian, Niam and Kethlan had a few small adventures of their own. Last they had seen, Donnal had gone through the standing stones with Bloduedd and Dorian and disappeared. Dorian was the only one to return. They were all on their way to find the cash of Munster. O'rosovic seemed fairly upset by being left behind and had another quest to go on as well. Before he did, he hunted down Jordi, thinking she was the Fomorian shape-shifter. He has not been heard from since. Now in Tara, these three (the druid, his bodyguard and the half-fomor) decided to keep on with the journey. They met up with a robed woman in an alley-way. It was the Firbolg that Donnal had befriended a while back! She joined them on their travels which took them to the shore of Munster. That night, the ship came in and everyone came ashore. LiBan, Treon and the 2 Dak Afar were on guard to fight the Firbolg - they hate eachother racially, but Donnal stepped between them and stopped the fight. On the beach, Kethlen was given the sword of Odin since he weilds a weapon of similar size as it is.
Before the night was dawn, the party (now joined as one) travelled east toward the encampment left after the disbanding of the Bandit kingdom. The ouldanders living there greeted us warmly and the Priest of Mythrus was happy to have someone who could speak his language! Kayla had been put as one of the heads of the village for now, but they had been informed that the winter will be harsh and by the spring, the fomor will push further inland. How to move so many elderly people in the winter? They have fewer and fewer supplies lately as well. Their 3 sickly donkeys are being kept as possible food sources it's gotten so bad.
Treon and Fenn decided to go into the woods to see what they could hunt and gather to bring back for people. In the woods, Fenn got sidetracked. The bush he was trying to gather winterberries from wilted and decayed before his eyes. The grass around his feet grew and died as well. This was happening all around him and he began to hear voices. He followed them calling out to them that what they were doing was a mockery of nature. Fenn was now stuck in the form of a human woman as she travelled deeper in. She eventually got to a small clearing in the middle of 5 great old trees. In there was a woman wearing white stacking perfectly round rocks into impossible formations and walking around her was an old hag of a woman wearing black who kept knocking down the patterns with her staff. They were complete contradictions of eachother. The hag told Fenn that her choide to be a human was spitting in Gaia's face, that she wasnt' good enough to be a sprite or be happy how she was. Fenn explained that it was to learn more about the people she wished to protect. The woman in white seemed to understand, but was quickly contradicted by the hag. The pattern would never be right. And something else was odd - they kept calling Fenn "little Kain toier" and never explained what that meant. Enevtually, she was sent back to the party. Her clothes stunk of rotted berries, but the berries that were being held in her shirt were perfectly ripe - more so than they should be for this time of year. But then Fenn being the crazy sprite she is never told anyone of this encounter.
The next morning, the party packed up and headed out to help the Fion in their fight against the Fomor. The woods held many dangers including a giant boar. Treon had begun to scout ahead and found a gored Fomor in the forest and knew that they had scouts. We finally made it to the keep and were allowed in (with the reputation of Donnal the Bear as a doorway). We were brought to Brian's tent where he was working on different strategies on a giant table map. Dierdre had suggested some plans as she typically had in the past, but Brian would have none of it now. He yelled at her and treated her as any other inferior officer. As she was dismissed, Donnal ran after her. She told him that her father had been killed (the King of Munster) and her brother and his elite went to the hill of Dunstin to help fortify it, but they hadn't been heard from. If her brother dies, it is her responsibility to be the pricess of Munster and denounce her rank as a Fion. She also mentioned that "something happened" between her and Brian and now he won't even regard her as a friend. Donnal then promised that he would help find her brother and try to help him and his men. The party is going to help reinforce the weakest part of the Fion troops, hold back and fight against the Fomor and follow after Donnal to the hill. If the mission fails, the Fion troops will be pinned by Fomor forces and won't be able to defend effectively.

from JANUARY 25, 2003:
Our party gathered together and headed out in the dead of night to scout out the territory. We wanted to see how easy or difficult it would be to get people through up to the hill of Dunnin and how rough the fighting will be. We met up with the hunters stationed there and the mood was very dark. The snow was fall ing as we arrived and we were shown the shallow graves of the recently fallen hunters. One of them, nicknamed "Hawk" was killed by what they all thought was a ghost. It turns out that it was most likely by the powers of a Fomorian cleric with the look of drath - he looks at you and you die! YIKES! It seems this silent killer shows approaches his victims while invisible as well. That's just great. How do you avoid looking at something that you can't even see in the first place?
Anyway, we prepared for battle. Our party as well as the hunters were positioned in a dense pine forest to help with cover. After a while of quiet, we could see fomor off ahead in the distance. Treon had been scouting and came back with reports of two smaller fomor among 10 brutes. The smaller ones were yelling what seemed to be orders and whipping the brutes with a chain. We had to target the leaders so that the brutes would disband and lose their control. Without the leaders,we would have tactics to our advantage. Then again, the leaders will surely hide behind the brutes. In addition to the fact that it is snowing, night-time and very cloudy, we still may not see the leaders - they may have the ability to turn invisible, as was previoulsy mentioned! Dang... We'll have to try our best.
The Fomor hurled their first boulder into our troops and instantly killed Dane, the Dak Afar driving his sister into a fit of rage. She ran towards them swinging her sword wildly. Luckily, Alun stopped her and gwydeon played a calming tune to pacify her rage. Unfortunatley, Alun and Tove heard the tune as well and were calm and happy as if nothing happened. Fenn came over to snap them out of it and they were ready again for fighting. Thanks Fenn! Over to the side of our troops, Kethlen, the half-fomor was looking over our enemy to see if he could spot the leader in this snow. Snow will still land on an invisible form as long as they are still solid. Giving a good long look, he saw two hidden forms - one behind another and both behind the brutes. He aimed his magic missile bow for the furthest one figuring that the strongest leader is the most protected. Unfortunately, it was Treon that he hit, taking away his invisibility and making his form a target to the fomor all around him. Oops! The Fomor picked up on it quickly and began to attack him instead. Donnal asked Kethlen if he understood what was going on - he told Donnal that someone was over there getting attacked. Assuming it was Treon, Donnal asked for Lugh's help to save him and was given the gift of speed for a short while. Donnal rushed into Fomor troops weilding Fomorsbane like a baseball bat since he couldn't wield it otherwise. Bloduedd was pitching in by sending freezing rain at the enemy and Liban was shooting them with lightning. As two of them ran towards the forest, Gwydeon used his fire gem to ignite them, but it did little to slow them down. Kethlen took out Odin's sword and sliced in half the leader of the Fomor group, leaving the brutes to their chaos. Treon was in a bad way - unconscious, beaten and ripped to shreads. Across the battlefield, Liban was trampled by a burning Fomor brute. Their two souls reached out to one another just as Treon died. LiBan was not much better herself. Just as he passed though, not only was LiBan heard wailing out in agony and despair, but it could be heard coming from the sky as well.
The snow stopped and the clouds spread wide, revealing a bright, full silver moon which then turned blood red. The very air around the battlefield was red and forces poured from the sky. The huntresses used their best powers and defeated all that were left alive. One was even trampled by Geliagh's chariot horses as she came from the sky. She fell from her chariot and landed right next to LiBan. She reached out with all her strength and grabbed LiBan's arm. The Huntresses took the two of them away in the Chariot, making sure they never separate. Nobody was allowed to come along with them, so we stayed on the battlefield and waited for their return, praying out to any god that would listen. Kethlen was found by Donnal and Fenn lying unconscious - he tried to pick up Fomor's bane. Baka. Fenn helped heal those he could and we helped the hunters bury their fallen. Everyone was in shock and nervous. We lost Treon, though his things were still there and we didn't want to lose LiBan either. If anything should happen to Geliagh, the night would be left unprotected aside from the huntresses who would be left without a leader.
Back at the court of the night, LiBan and Geliagh were communing with emotions, memories and their wills. They showed eachother their memories and admitted their past hatred of eachother and their common love for Treon. They both want revenge against the Fomor. Their wills were bound together in one body and they awoke. Lea was standing there in front of her asking how she was and addressing her as her queen. In a panicked confusion, LiBan looked around and saw her body lying there on the floor. She picked it up and looked into her own dead eyes. That freaked her out and she dropped the body. LiBan called out to her father. When she finally reached him, her brother, CuCullain was there as well. They really didn't have too many answers for her multitude of questions, but she was reassured that she is still who she was, regardless of the body. Back in the court of the night, Lea prepared the charriot for her to head back and deliver LiBan's body to her companions. As they were about to leave, it was gestured for her to take the heart of the moon. A wave of disgust and loathing came over both Geliagh and LiBan and they refused to take it. Being stubborn and Irish, there really was no arguing with either of them.
The charriot flew through the sky, past the moon that has finally returned to it's normal color. Dawn was approaching and this needed to be brief. Geliban (I'll say for convenience) told the party what had happened and that they were both alive. They wanted to denounce the title of Queen of the night and aim only toward ridding the world of all Fomorkind. They were cold toward the corpse that was LiBan and showed little care of what was to come of it. We buried it and showed them over to Treon's things. She donned his armor, ring and mask, as well as strapping his sword across her back. She proclaimed that she was heading back to the Fion to see how their progress has been and where to go to kill more fomor. Donnal began gathering up his people to head forward to the hill of Dunnin. More Fomore were reported heading there not long ago. A small force was needed to get in, but back-up will be needed to get them out again. Prince Correus is probably there along with his elite and civilians. Joining Donnal were Kethlen (who was still unconscious and hearing voices from Fomorsbane in his head), Bloduedd and Fenn. The rest of the group (Gwydeon, Tove, Alun, Geliban, Keeley and the Hunters) was heading back to the Fion. We had to tell them about the gaze attacks and some abilities of Fomor clerics anyway. We would be after the hill of Dunnin soon to provide as much backup as possible. The whole way there is wide open with no possibility of defense should anything happen, so here's hoping nothing will!

February 8th Game Details:

As Donnal was carrying off the unconscious Kethlen and heading towards the hill of Dunnin, the rest of the party was standing in confusion at who stood before them. Fenn had serious doubts that it was LiBan speaking through Geliagh and begged Tove to not bury her. Alun joined up as well, trying to stop Tove from burying LiBan. He suggested we use the Black cauldron - the same one that brought him back to life. But where would we find it? LiBan insisted that she had the power to make an entirely new body and didn't need this one anymore any way. The only problem would be how to get her soul into it! Maybe we could use that cauldron afterall. Last we knew, it was Sennok who was the keeper of that. If such an item of Danu is in the hands of the Unsileigh, who knows what Eire is in store for. This became a more important quest than any other right now.
It became apparent that there were still too many questions left unanswered for us to do this right. We had to ask someone...perhaps Treon's Grandfather! The Tree of knowledge! Maybe that's where Treon's soul is! With a majority of her powers, Geliagh called us all close to bring us straight there. When we arrived, before us hung a ranger covered in vines. She was clearly weak and drained, but still alive. Once we walked past her, we were in the magical forest. The Forest Lord greeted us warmly, expecting our arrival. He told us that the imbalance of Eire was growing so strong that the Rangers were volunteering their life forces to protecting the tree. Keeley, the Norse Dak Afar asked about being a ranger herself and was given tablets to study. She plans on staying here to help from now on. Donnal, Kethlen and Fenn had never been here before, so they asked the tree questions that they wanted the answers to. Donnal asked many! From these answers came guidance and information we need to help retrieve the cauldron. Now how to get there...
A message was sent to the court of the Day as well as Prince Liefus. Both were promptly answered and we filled them in on what had happened. Gwendolier was thrown into a brief shock to hear that her foster son was killed in battle and that Geliagh had renounced her position as queen of the night and that Lugh's daughter was now without her own body. However, when we explained that we needed to get the cauldron in order to try to fix these things, her mood lightened and she offered her help. She called for druids (including LiBan's mother) to aide us and Liefus arrived with Puz and Mudd. They had been fighting Fomor and doing rather well, according to the Prince. Then again, he's never been very modest. However, we had a new mission for him and we had to get to it before night fell and we were left with less protections and allies.
The place were the cauldron was being kept was in a fortress three stories tall. Just outside of it were some standing stones - a means of teleportation for druids and fae-kind. Since the cauldron is so important to the unsileigh for reviving their slain soldiers, it would be well guarded and we had to be prepared for Derg Tyn: The unsileigh Queen of the Day! The druid of the Morrigan volunteered his services to help empower one of us to be an army all on our own and given the rage of a berzerker. Tove could not take this because of her Valkyrie heritage, but Donnal could. He accepted to be the back-up and to help ward off the foes that would follow after us once we were in the Keep. Gwendolier brought us there and we were immediately spotted by 5 unsileigh who called out to others for back-up! Donnal used an ability in his sword given by Blodwedd to create a wall of water to assure us safe passage to the keep. It was pointed out that villagers began pouring out of a nearby town and began rushing us as we arrived. They must have been charmed by Sennok! br>Meanwhile, the berzerker rage began to take hold of Donnal- his Lugh armor even grew big pointy spikes! He killed the center unsileigh with the second power in his sword and was ready to take on the rest.
They merged into one and he chopped away at them as best he could. Just as the party nearly made it to the keep, redcaps had emerged from it and ran straight for Donnal. That cleared a path for the rest of the party and they hurried in. Gwydeon and LiBan flew to the top of the keep where they saw 2 unsileigh waiting to attack (two of the original five that spotted us) and we kicked their butts....until Derg Tyn showed up! She shot a forey spell at LiBan and knocked her off the roof! Fortunately, Treon's flying ring kept her afloat. Gwydeon knew enough to get out of there and headed inside. Liefus headed into a side room and began smashing all within. Tove was met with redcaps trying to kill her. Fenn tried to help in hurting them, but heard LiBan's call for help and answered to it. Tove managed to finally kill the redcap and was eased a bit more when Gwydeon used his wand of alteration against the redcap behind him, turning it into a frog! He used it again and we were getting rid of redcaps faster than ever before. Donnall was also exterminating them outside left and right. One dealt him a grave blow and Derg Tyn had sent a wall of flames heading straight for him! Bloduedd managed to extinguish it in time but the result was a cloud of steam. Fenn was making his way over to Donnal just as this happened, so he could not find Donnal in order to try to heal him up. Just then, Donnal dealt a great blow that cleared the steam from the battlefield and called upon a flock of crows. He killed his enemy and the crows each flew away with pieces of its flesh in their mouths, leaving nothing behind but the weapon it was wielding. The crows led Donnal to the keep and up the wall to the rooftop. Thankfully, he did not kill any allies along the way. He was still badly wounded though he did not feel any pain. Fenn used this opportunity to heal him while his hands and feet were busy climbing a wall. Inside the keep at that time, bombs were rolling down the stairs and thankfully missing any targets. In a side room, prisoners were found - 3 men and 3 ghoblins. All were chained up and sickly...all except one man. He had an attitude about him that this was all completely normal. He said he was awaiting a great blessing! Sennok sure did a number on these people. LiBan and Geliagh charmed them and set them freeso that we would have fewer foes to have to fight. By now the stairs were on fire and Derg Tyn could be heard screaming from upstairs. Tove and Blodwedd put out the fire and the party rushed up.
Tove and LiBan went outside to see how things fared there. The rushing villagers were tied with vines and not moving any closer, Gwendolier and LiBan's mother were working together to try to keep something/someone from coming through the standing stones (Most likely Sennok), the other druids lay dead on the ground and alun was facing off with that cat-like monster that previously attacked Treon and LiBan. AAAAH! LiBan's Mother, Gwydeon's Father, Treon's foster mother and Tove's boyfriend! This is all getting too personal!!!

from FEBRUARY 22, 2003:

Blood upon the Snow

Ok, where were we?
Oh YEAH!
Figting to get the Caudron!
In the Castle, Gwydeon, Fenn, and Liefus reach the second floor in time to see Donnal facing off to Derg Tyn. She begins to prepare for a big and firey attack and completely evaporates the 3 water wierds that Blodwedd sent to help on our side. Derg Tyn hits Donnal. Donnal hits Derg Tyn. Fenn then realized that he was in no real position to do much up here, so he flew off to help outside. Gwydeon knew the dual between these two would only heat up, so he ran behind a wall, partly to find the cauldron and partly to protect himself.
Meanwhile, outside, the cat-headed beast is tearing away at Alun's chest while Gwendolier and Niam truggle to hold back Sennock who is coming through the standing stones. The two druids are thrown back as the Dark leader of the unsileigh makes his way through the stones. Niam is knocked unconscious and Gwendolier becomes the new target for the cat-headed man. As she struggles against the beast and Alun gets some healing from Fenn, Sennok calls forth 6 of his best soldiers - Unsileigh Fion!
Back in the Castle, Donnal took off Derg Tyn's leg and now ran her and her shield through! She is now a giant being of fire, but his sword still kills her (She smiles and whispers "Freedom" just before exploding). Both his magical sword and her magical shild are ruined and explode! Her firey form has already set the roof on fire (we don't need no water, let the mother f***er burn!) and the esplosions from these weapons completely demolish what is left of the castle! Fire and ce and lots of scalding steam stream out the windows and tear down the walls. AS Gwydeon flies up to clear himself from the danger, he can see the Black Cauldron fall to the ground with the rest of the debris. Along with that falls Liefus who now has a hold of Donnal, keeping him alive with his own life force. Gwydeon digs them out just in time for Sennok and his Fion to show up.
As for the cat-beast, Tove wounds it deeply, but it has the chance to escape through the standing stones. Time to call in for help! Gwydeon does his best to call out to the Court of the Day for help, but is silenced by his father's magic. Liefus calls to his charriot, but once it arrives, Sennok says something that instills him with fear and he acually begins to cower! Thankfully, Gwydeon restores his valiance and bravery. Liefus picks up the Cauldron and smacks 2 of the Fion away with it! All this while, Donnal is trying to free himself from the rubble and debris. He hears a seductive voice behind him offering her help - it was the Goodess Morrigan. She possessed his body and helped him grow stronger. Sennok sees this and teleports him away to a river about a mile away in the nearby town. Geliban was trying any powers she had to hold back the Fion from reaching the Cauldron, but nothing was working. As she headed over to it, Blodwedd tried to help out - she doused Sennok with a ball of water and he began screaming! It wasn't even that damaging as far as water goes! In a raging voice, he sent his 6 soldiers off to attack Blodwedd! She's never been in combat before and was horribly traumatized when she was actually wounded. Fenn healed her body up, but her clothes were still stained with her own blood It was enough time to get Geliban to the cauldron. Once she touched it, Geliagh and LiBan were separated again. LiBan found herself naked inside the caudron and heard the commotion outside.
Now that the LiBan Filled cauldron was being loaded onto his charriot, Liefus took a swipe and cut off Sennok's head!...who then just walked over and picked it up again and put it back on!!! The Fion are called to a full retreat and Gwydeons father looked to him and said "Thank you" just as they all left. Thank you?! What does THAT mean? Thanks for WHAT?!
Anyway, the party on the ground re-groups as Geliagh, Gwydeon and Liefus fly off with the Cauldron (and naked LiBan). They land in a safe spot, though not the Forest of the great tree. Liefus calls upon the Korrid to fix his arm and in turn heal him up. He's in really bad shape. So is Donnal. His face and hair burnt to a crisp and melted off. Eventually, Donnals rage wears off and he collapses in the field. The party there gets healing from Fenn. We also notice that the Court of the Day has arrived and was helping our side in battles further away (in Donnal's area) Nim was there too! The King was caught up by Gwendolier on most every event since last night and went to talk with Donnal. He offered him a healing berry and Donnal left his armor out to lay in the sun and heal itself. Once we found out who was where, the party gathered around and were brought to the Great tree.
During this time, LiBan was found in the cauldron and given a dress to wear by one of the Korrid. Liefus was completely fixed and they headed out to the Great Tree. They delivered the cauldron to the Forest Lord and asked how to get Treon Back. Geliagh and LiBan concentrated on their memories of him and their feelings toward him and the wind began to blow. Soon, out came Treon!...and then he came out of the cauldron again!....wait a minute. Two Treons? One was enamored with Geliagh, while the other was gravitating toward LiBan. It turns out that they got just what they wanted. Geliagh's Treon was wild and irresponsible, just how she wanted him. LiBan's Treon was more responsible and less boyish, just how she wished he always was. They agreed to stay friendly with eachother and they even hugged eachother. That took the two Treons back a bit, but not in a bad way. After deciding what items go to which Treon, Geliagh took her Treon into the woods and at sunset, a silver chariot came to take them back to the court of the day. (Both Treon's were glad of that since they were both still empathic!). But now, Geliagh will be able to have an heir and she and Treon will be able to go to Tyrnanog one day! Now that She has her Treon and is no longer feuding with LiBan, her stresses will be lessened and she will accept her position as Queen of the night once again. Geliagh is fixed and the King of the Day no longer has an Unsileigh counterpart!
By now, Gwendolier showed up with the rest of the party in the forest and we all got caught up. Fenn completely healed up Donnal to the way he used to be before the big firey boom that was Derg Tyn and there was MUCH drinking going on. Everyone finally got a good night's sleep! It's been long enough! Man, too much happened in the past 36 hours.
The Next morning, Swirlz the Sprite comes to pick up the party to go to the Court of the day. The King promised Donnal a new sword, but since it is day time, he is out on duty. Gwendolier helps us out with the things we need - a new spear for Gwydeon, a new sword for Donnal and sword training for Fenn. We're given lunch and a place to stay for the afternoon. Donnal tries to talk with Blodwedd and apologize for frightening her, but she doesn't want to talk about it. LiBan calls up a Korrid to see what he can do with Afnak scales. She wants a shield made of them, armor for Fenn and a scale shirt for Tove, but the Korrid doesn't want to make that stuff - he wants to make CHANDALIERS! Stupid Korrid. After about an hour of orguing with this little fae folk, The sun sets and the King arrives. It's time for dinner, but everyone wants to get going onto the fighting. They feel guilty eating good food and resting while their comrades are fighting. The king sends them one by one to the Hill of Dunnin which is being pelted with boulders by the Fomor. Tove and Alun take a bit longer to enjoy their meal, but they eventually are sent as well.
And that's where we left off

from MARCH 1, 2003:

A few things from the last game were switched around a little:
Kethlen WAS with us at the battle for the Cauldron - he was fighting the unsileigh in the field. Joining him was Alycia, a hunter sprite summoned to help by Gwendolier. She later stayed with the party to keep an eye on us.

BAck to the present state of the party.
We've all arrived, teleported by the King of the Day, to the Hill of Dunnin. The mission is to rescue everyone inside and get them through a secret tunnel to safety. The tunnel is down a well and Donnal knows where it is from being told by the Great Tree of Knowledge.
The walls of the Cashel are really beaten up and there are lots of wounded people here. Donnal sends Tove, Alun and Kethlen to help defend against any attacks while Gwyddeon and Fenn heal up who they can. LiBan and Treon also help with trying to scout out safe spots and rescue routes while Donnal finds Prince Correus and Ormennan of the Fion. Correus's back is broken! Yikes! Fenn tries to heal him (while still trying to stay unseen) but it is to no avail. There are still maybe 30 wounded people left as well! That's more than they can handle! We just need to get out now!
Meanwhile, outside, the rest of the party can see that at the bottom of the muddy hill is a large pack of Fomor. There are at least 10 brutes and nearly twice as many smaller half-breeds. Two larger forms seem to be in command of the team as they hurl head-sized boulders through the walls. On the front lines, a woman tries her best to keep in control and keep everyone else organized. When she takes off her helmet, we can see it is Nore (a girl that really likes Donnal, though nobody else in the party has met her). We help her get back behind the wall and scout out the perimeter of the cashel. On one side, there is farily less-trodden path, but it ends in a frozen pond. In the pond, the ice-surface was already broken and a fomor lay bladed and dead floating in the water - guess they found it the hard way.
Donnal finds the well that leads to the escape route and with the help of Alycia, finds out that it is also about 50 feet down and ends in a freezing cold underground river! How are we going to get the seriously wounded, like Correus down 50 feet?! Alycia offered to help them float down the hole and Fenn was to be there to catch them at the bottom (in Human form). Now that we have that squared away, how will we keep the fomor from charging up the hill? Once they see the men on the wall retreating into the escape hole, they'll charge the hill before we can get most anyone down there. We have to distract them. First, LiBan shoots an arrow off in a further direction to distract their attention. Then, Kethlen, who is half-fomor himself, shouts out to their leader in their own language, taunts and curses. The lieutenant's name is Enthuie - she is one of the toughest he knows. Aside from her leadership and skill, she is nearly 25 feet tall! The taunts encourage another wave of boulders thrown at the cashel. Treon, trying to help out, calls out in Danian over to the side. Now they're really confused and angry. The fomor are getting quiet at the bottom of the hill while the party at the top tries to figure out how to handle them while the people begin their escape.
Eventually, Tove volunteers to fight Ethnuie one-on-one. Kethlen follows her down to translate. It's a good time-saver and we need to begin killing Fomor. Barely 10 seconds fly bybefore Tove is greatly wounded and Ethnuie is dead. With her last breaths, she curses Tove and commands a charge of her soldiers. Treon flies down to help them escape, but gets stuck down there himself, just as the charge begins. Alycia aides them by sending 4 of the fomor flying up a wall of wind! Nice! Tove takes the opportunity to fly away, though Kethlen refuses to leave Treon behind. Treon seems to be able to handle himself fine though - he becomes the target of the other large commanding Fomor in the pack - another brute, 25 feet tall, but this one has 4 arms and its skin is fused with metal! It chases after Treon with its sharp nasty flails in each hand, but he gets away. He leads ot over to the frozen pond and jumps from ice-block to ice-block until he is far enough away to get back onto land. In the meantime, Ketlen tries to slice into a fomor brute and loses his Odin sword! Just about that time, Alycia was trying to help slow them down by causing a fog cloud to rise around them. Now kethlen can't find his sword, but they can't find him either. As he makes his way out of it, he can see that the fomor have made it at least half-way up the hill.
Everyone is down the hole now and we're only waiting on members of our own party. Blodwedd,Tove and Alun climb down, followed by Donnal and fenn. Last to get in is Gwyddeon, who takes the rope with him. Treon, Kethlen and Alycia are left outside to try to escape the Fomor through the Forest.
Hopefully, we'll all meet up at the same place - however, we're not sure where the tunnel will lead or where the forest will lead...or what will happen along the way! Underground, we will be carrying the wounded and resting whenever possible. Blodwedd is leading the way and we can only hope for the best. Up in the forest, the three adventurers have only eachother to count on in any sort of emergency or despair.

July 26, 2003:
After travelling in the tunnel for a long time, we finally made it out and came to the settlement where the immigrants had made their make-shift home. Along the way, we lost nearly half of the people we tried so deperately to save. PRince Correus however was recovering and Fenn had successfully healed his back. At the end of the trip, we were welcomed with Treon, Kethlenn and Alycia waiting for us.
Unfortunately, so were the Fomor.
We were attacked by a group of Fomor, but the party kicked their butts. There was only one left and he was continually taunted and chased until he, too was struck dead.
After we re-grouped and made sure everyone was alright, we headed over to find Brian and his troops. Once there, we also met up with Sennok and the Worlocks (evil unsileigh Fion). Sennok challenged a battle between he and his troops against Brian and his troops. In the battle, Mane was killed and others badly wounded. Fenn fought against an evil farie who put up a great fight. As it swelled with energy, ready to bust at the end of its life, Fenn rose up to give it a good-bye kiss and it EXPLODED! Fenn was nearly killed, but LiBan gave her magical bow to save his life.
Meanwhile, Donnal and Gwyddeon went off to face against Sennok himself. The fight was a tough one. Gwyddeon thought back to a riddle he had heard about how to kill him - it involved the elements, but it made no sense. So, trying his best, he dumped water on Sennok, set him on fire, kicked dirt on him and beat the living snot out of him, all of this after calling out his warrior's scream louder than ever. Nothing worked. Sennok lived still. He then told the party present that he was here for Dierdre. He was to protect her. LiBan had arrived and fought with Sennok to take her to safety. She managed to teleport Dierdre to Tara. There, she learned from Celtchair that Dierdre was preganant with Brian's twins!!! That's why Sennok wanted her so much - to raise the children of the High King under his own guidance!
Back at the battle, things didn't go very well, but the fey troops did leave. Then, the party met with Gwyddeon's father's old travelling companions, Sirrus and Inloth. They caught up with our progress as we did with them. Learning of Sennoks' plans and motives, they told us how he truly wished to help the world, but in a rather backwards way - he was to bring about ultimate destuction, so it could be defeated and life could return safely afterwards. The only one who could actually defeat him or kill him would be his flesh and blood - Gwyddeon. The riddle was answered when they told of the death of the man he thought was his father this whole time. Dylan and Gowall were twins - Gowall was killed by Dylan as he threw him off a cliff and drowned him in the ocean. That was to be his own death as well and only Gwyddeon was able to complete that task. To help ease the pain of his frustrations and down his sorrows, Sirrus offered Gwyddeon his finest spirits and got him drunk as a skunk.
The next day, we were sent on our way to the base camp of the Fion by way of large, white, fast, magical stags.

August 16, 2003:
We arrived at the Fion camp very shortly after we left and came to abrupt stop. The guards were very on-edge, but welcomed us in (as Gwyddeon was puking his guts out from the hangover) We were asked where to go to help cure the hangover and to get Tove's curse removed. Eladar was recommended for that and we were directed to the healer's tent. Maga was the only healer in the entire tent and was attending to over 30 wounded and ill soldiers. Most of Tara sent their people to this camp, so there were guards, charioteers and knights all about. They had been fighting fomor day in and day out.
Eledar arrived and greeted his fellow bard heartily. He showed no signs of self-doubt or melancholy feelings throughout this snowy battle-stricken camp. To lift the curse on Tove, all he really needed to do was to lift her spirits. He pulled out his lute and played the song of her first battle against the afnak in Tinsdale. He played it so well that everyone was rallied and excited and the curse was lifted! Huzza! From there, everyone began moving their separate ways, figuring out what to do next. Eledar met with Gwyddeon and they spoke of bard-ish things. Eledar had come upon the Stone of Might, but could not make it work for him. He gave it to Gwyddeon and it began to glow immediately. LiBan, Tove, Alun, Treon and Fenn wandered off elsewhere and ran across three individuals - Oisin's sister, an incredibly surly fion whose name escapes me, and a Dwarven bard named Nut. Oisin's sister (whose name I also forget) spoke with LiBan, telling her to visit her mother who was also in camp at the time while Donnal had gone off to speak with Oisin himself. Tomorrow was Imbolc and also LiBan's 16th Birthday. She was now going to be an adult in the eyes of the Fey and wanted tomorrow to be her handfasting day.
Treon had been looking around at the forest for most of the morning slightly nervous or sad looking. Once LiBan had gone off to see her mother, the rest of the group asked him why. He wanted to go into the forest to kill the giant boar and take the magical treasure stuck to its back as a wedding gift to his bride-to-be. Thankfully, he was talked out of it long enough until he was distracted with something else.. LiBan's visit with her mother was a welcome happiness to both of them. She was so proud of her little girl who was about to be a lovely woman. She wanted to preside over the handfasting ceremonies (being that she is the arch druid of Lugh) and LiBan accepted happily. KoSain was also handed over to LiBan - reuniting the armor and sword of her god-father. Donnal was given other knightly armor to wear - more his style.
On her way out of the tent, LiBan ran across the OTHER Treon who was there on behalf of his queen and consort. They both wanted to extend a handfasting gift to her. Since he was there, and since he held the aspect of the younger, reckless Treon, he decided to stick around and help her find her consort-to-be now that they had wandered off. They came across eachother finally and we all had a fun little snowball fight. LiBan's Treon told her how much he wanted to get her a gift and she handed over to him Kosain. He put it on and it formed to the style of his previous scale maille, but gold in color.
The evening went by quite nicely. Gwyddeon, Eledar, Fenn, Nut, and the two Treons performed various musical numbers and LiBan was called up to sing a few songs with them. Oisin came from his tent at one point to remind the troops that even though the company and the music was very necessary to lift their hearts, they still needed to be mindful of the dead and suffering. In rememberance of those fallen, a melancholy tune was requested and the evening quieted down and the soldiers headed to bed. The snow was slowing down and the fires were dulling. Alun and Tove went into a tent to get out of the cold and Gwyddeon wandered around to try to get his mind off of his wife and child so far away in Tara. LiBan and Treon wandered off into the far reaches of camp where nobody could see them. Technically, her birthday begun this night...and now that she was going to be an adult....and they were going to be wed...they uh....well...to put it bluntly, they GOT IT ON! As LiBan grew into womanhood, blessed with not only her god blood but her true love lying with her for the first time, she truly blossommed. Not only did she become radiently gorgeous literally overnight, but her powers of creation became more instinctive to her. As the night moved on and shebecame more of a woman, the air warmed, the ground softened and flowers grew up from the soil and bloomed in the middle of the night! Everyone gathered around to see and experience this miracle and they noticed that the sun began to rise as well - it was barely after midnight, but dawn was quicly approaching. Fenn, who was still recovering from his near-fatal kiss of an exploding fairy, was completely recovered and energized.
Once Great Lugh's sunbeams broke over the horizon, the plans for the handfasting begun. LiBan and Treon emerged from their romantic getaway and everyone was excited for Ibolc to begin....not to mention drooling over LiBan and her uber-beauty.
And then came the beating of fierce hooves
A rider was approaching, followed by fierce Fomor. After striking the rider and killing his horse, the Fomor retreated back to whence they came. To save him, LiBan and Tove ran over to his side and tried to heal him as best as they could. They brought him to Maga in the healer's tent and heard him muttering something about the Il Donnacht. Tove took that to mean that an aspect of Lugh was at the battle. Since LiBan was already here, that brought her to conclude that CuCullain was at the battle. As he was secured and began to heal, the party rushed after the retreating Fomor and into a great battle. Donnal immediately fought his way valiantly to the front lines, slashing about the fomor bodies and trying desperately to find Etaine and give her Fomorsbaine. Over the ridge, behind the Fomor troops, came the biggest, meanest, most armored Fomor any of us had laid eyes on - it was Yazbaddin for sure. Following him were 2 other fomor, just as large. Tove would only come up to their knee in height! The others were the Fomor Champion and a BabaYaga look-alike with a nastly gnarled staff with a giant, working eyeball on it. Both she and Yazbaddin had one eye closed at all times. No good could come of this.
From the eye-staff came a beam of purple flame aimed directly at LiBan. They screamed "Il Donnacht" again and sent the champion after her. Also caught in the beam were Gwyddeon, Treon and Tove. Alun and Fenn had not made it to the battle as of yet and Donnal needed to find Etaine. Those in the spell could not see or hear anyone but themselves and their 3 giant foes. The champion told the party to stand aside - he only wanted to kill LiBan. They would have none of it. He was covered in spiked leather armor and wielded two great axes. He was barely grazed and his armor hardly scuffed before he killed Gwyddeon. However, in his dying breath, Gwyddeon called out to his God, Oghma. Since he could not haggle with the god of death himself, Oghma called upon the Morrigan to stave death off for as long as possible. So gwyddeon lay bleeding on the ground, numb and dead, yet completely conscious of it. Thoughts of his quest ending, thoughts of his child and his wife. He had more time to dwell on these things than he cared for and even more reason to do so. Tove and Treon buzzed around the head of this champion as LiBan used her new-found creation skills to help Gwyddeon heal to the point of him being alive and then some. However, to do so, she had to take her own life source to give to him and then take the time to heal herself. Tove grazed the eye of this champion - the only flesh that was exposed. Then, LiBan, thinking quickly and driven by the need of her father's sword to Kill off all fomor, she drove the golden blade through the knee of this monster. As he cried out in pain, a tear was made through this spell and in flew Queen Moira - with raven black wings that came from her back! She stabbed the eye-staff, counteracting the spell, not destroying it. Still, the effect was enough that it frightened and intimidated the hag into retreat. She took the champion with her as much as he fought to stay and finish the fight. Gwyddeon was healed to the point he could not speak or remain awake, but he was breathing, his blood was pumping and he was no longer dead. Treon had also been greatly wounded, so LiBan took his ring of wind powers and the two women took the men to the edge of the forest for LiBan to continue healing them. Tove then returned to the battle at hand.
Victory was just as great outside of this spell bubble. At first, the Fion troops had been greatly rallied by the calling of the D'ord Fion. Their enthusiasm pushed hard into the Fomor lines. Then, the Fomor pushed back just as hard, holding their ground. Once the spell had been broken and the Fomor realized they were not the victors - they actually saw their powerful mage running away - they lost their hope and their drive and were pushed into retreat. This was the greatest victory on the side of the Fion for this entire war!
