The Bastard Games
These two games, developed and played by former
Jaystormers are only loosely connected with Jaystorm. Due to Geography
and the passage of time, these games have gone on divergent paths from
the main Jaystorm game and in some ways are throw-backs to the original
Star Wars systems from which both originated.
Here are some of the simularities between Jaystorm
and the Bastard Games:
-
Both games use a d6 die system.
-
Both use similiar main attributes (i.e.- dex,
str, kno..)
-
"Lisboa's Game" has a psychic system similiar
to the one used in Jaystorm.
-
The Players and DMs are mostly former Jaystormers
and share similiar roleplaying experiences.
Here are some of the major differences:
-
Both games have rolled "Rogue Skills" and "Fighter
Skills" back into Dexterity and Perception.
-
Learning new non-specialized skills is much easier
to do. (Just raise a skill one pip above the base attribute)
-
"Cisco's Game" has an extremely developed magic
system which basically allows you greater flexibility of what you can do
with magic.
-
"Lisboa's Game" has several different magic systems
for the different sources of magic in the universe. Some of which are:
Antonomy (Demon Worship), Gjarti (Druid Magic), Orhtodoxy (Church Magic),
Rune Casting and Symbiote.
Here is a brief overview of each
game (listed in order of creation) Both Game titles are unofficial
at this time:
"Lisboa's
Game" - The Voyages of the Pegasus
"Cisco's
Game" - Beldarus: Our Years at the Auger
